Absolutely.

I told him you would yell if anybody's phone went off.

I have done that before.

I made sure I silenced my before I came out.

So I actually, I had mine on this morning. My kid called me me. Thank God or I would be the guy who's phone went off. Thank you first of all for coming. And I want to start with the question I've asked everybody who's running for president. When you've got a former president, a former U.N. ambassador, current governors and senators. Why should voters

vote for Chris Christie for president? I think two reasons. First is that I'm tired of our country

over the past decade or a little bit more doing small things. We're dividing ourselves up into

smaller and smaller groups. We're pitting those small

groups against each other. And then we're bringing up issues, not that are unimportant, Eric, but are small

in context of how big and important our country is and has been. And I'm not interested in doing that.

There are too many huge problems for us to deal with

of consequence that I want to take on,

and I'm willing to talk about now as president.

First is education.

When one of every three children in this country

does not read a grade level,

that is a crisis, everybody.

It's a crisis.

And we have been absolutely dominated by the teachers' unions in this country.
