There's a case, there's a trial going on right now.

And it has to do with two Chinese citizens, two night Chinese nationals are standing trial in New York.

And this is related to fentanyl trade, and this is the landmark case, and I'll tell you about that in a moment.

They were arrested, apprehended in a sting

operation in Fiji in June of 2023. They were expelled from Fiji and arrested in the U.S.

Where they've been held and now trial in federal court is going on.

Now, these 2023 indictments were the first prosecutions against Chinese nationals

and a China-based company for trafficking fentanyl precursor chemicals into the U.S.

It's not just a couple of cockroaches who are doing this and bringing in chemicals.

They make fentanyl out of.

No, it's a company also.

I mean, it is a chemical company that is in China, the Hu-Bai Amarvel Biotech company. And they shipped with these two guys more than 200

kilograms, about 500 and something pounds, if not more, of fentanyl-related chemical precursors.

And you always get this numerical equivalent that you can make enough fentanyl to kill 25 million

Americans with this much.

And Arm-A-Marvell biotech is one of a number of Chinese companies that do this.

And what happens is these are precursors chemicals that then are brought in,

operated by drug cartels in the U.S. and Mexico, and then fentanyl is manufactured, and it's like

killing so many people. Now, what makes this kind of interesting is they get arrested in Fiji and then they're

kicked out of Fiji and then they're arrested in the U.S. and they're Chinese nationals.

I don't quite know how they were arrested in the U.S. unless there was an arrest warrant made and Fiji allowed

them to happen because this is the first time Chinese nationals are being tried in the United
