Never better. That's a bold. We're also joined by a new friend here. Melanie Hart is Senior Director of the Atlantic Council's Global China Hub.

Prior to joining the Council, Hart worked at the U.S. Department of State,

where she served as Senior Advisor for China in the Office of the Undersecretary for Economic Growth, energy, and the environment.

And for those of you who are following along in your newspapers, you can probably guess

that the reason that Melanie is here is because on Thursday, President Trump is going to meet

with President Xi, and they are already intimating, A, possibilities

of a deal, although what the U.S. is saying and what China is saying slightly different,

B, the possibilities of another meeting early next year, and even bigger deals. But rather than rely on nameless analyses,

why do we turn to Melanie and say,

what are your expectations?

Sure, so glad to be joining you all.

You know, they've announced that the presidents will be meeting basically around 11 p.m. tonight, our time here in D.C., 11 a.m., South Korea time Thursday. And my expectations is that they will have the meeting. I don't think we'll have another round of the will they, won't they break up, get back together over the next 12 or so
