China officially acknowledges the United States is reaching out for trade talks. It's Monday,

A potential easing of U.S. China trade tension sparking market optimism after China's

Commerce Ministry announced it was reviewing a U.S.

proposal to resume trade negotiations, saying China has noted the repeated statements from senior

U.S. officials expressing a willingness to negotiate with China on tariff issues.

At the same time, the U.S. side has recently taken the initiative to relay messages to China

through relevant channels,

expressing a desire to engage in talks. China is currently evaluating this matter.

This marks Beijing's first official acknowledgement in weeks of U.S. appeals, with U.S. President

Donald Trump suggesting Beijing was eager for a deal. The Chinese Yuan hit a six-month high

in the new Taiwan dollar surge to a two-year peak, fueled by $1.4 billion in foreign equity inflows and a 60% profit jump from Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer TSM.

Despite market enthusiasm, polymarket betters remain cautious, assigning a 20% chance of a trade deal by June and a 48% chance of reduced U.S. terrorists by May's end.

In cryptocurrency markets, Bitcoin's struggling to break $95,000 facing resistance at key technical levels,

according to GlassNode, though a breakout above $98,000 could pave the way for new highs.

Meanwhile, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Boudarin wants to make Ethereum as simple as Bitcoin

blogging a long-term roadmap that drastically reduces the complexity of Ethereum's technology

while retaining its programmability and scalability. Boutteran acknowledged Ethereum's growing

technical complexity, which hinders maintenance, audits, and onboarding new developers. His strategy

includes overhauling the consensus layer, replacing the Ethereum virtual machine with a simpler

alternative like RiskVee and reducing the consensus-critical co-base. To maintain compatibility,
