Gerald Horne holds the Moores Professorship of History and African American Studies at The University of Houston. He is the author of over forty books including , most recently, The Counter-Revolution of 1893: The Hawaii Coup and the Roots of US Imperialism in the Asia-Pacific Basin' and the forthcoming 'The Long Detour: The Sino-Soviet Split and the Rise and Fall of US Imperialism' [2027]. He is contributing editor of Political Affairs .
Ali Abunimah is director of The Electronic Intifada an independent nonprofit publication focusing on Palestine. He is the author of "One Country, A Bold Proposal to End the Israeli-Palestinian Impasse" and "The Battle for Justice in Palestine."
