While we slept President Trump and Xi Jinping of China strike a deal. And it's about what you'd expect,

except the meeting was much shorter than anticipated. It didn't last three to four hours. They got it

done somewhere between 90 minutes and an hour and 45 minutes. And it is not some sort of a long-term

forever deal. And I don't know why anybody would have expected that. These are the two biggest

players in the world as economies go. There is all kinds of global ramifications that exist

for every country in every corner of the world, depending on what happens here. And it seems

pretty logical to me that as Trump flies away and met with the media on Air Force One,

he said, we're going to revisit this deal every year. It's a one-year deal. We'll get the details to you

because the details are still coming in. What we know is China's buying a whole bunch of soybeans.

There's a possibility they're buying oil from Alaska and less from Russia.

The ingredients used to make fentanyl in Mexico, Xi has agreed to either stop or slow down over

the next year. Trump has dropped the tariffs by 10% on China. But as of right now, as I'm

recording this, it's very confusing if that's on all items coming from

China or exactly how that's going to work. So I'm going to guess it's more complex than that.

A lot of this was predetermined before the meeting. So that was a very good thing. And while I love this,

when Trump's in the White House, it does bring up one very important thing to say.

The globalization that took place over an extended period of time that was not good for America,

not good for American jobs, not good for anything really for us, okay, that's over for a year.

And Trump can redo a deal. And I think we're all feeling pretty good that the next three years that will go well. But the bottom line is this. We're one

Democrat president away from being in trouble with China again. Hopefully this is something the
