Childbirth seems to be getting more and more medicalized, with C-sections and other interventions out the wazoo. But childbirth isn’t a disease! So is all this medical meddling really necessary, or are doctors too trigger-happy with the scalpel? 0:29.9	We're at the point we're around a third of people having babies in the US,

0:36.1	Yeah, about one in three are getting surgically cut open to get the baby out.
0:42.2	And a lot of people are saying, childbirth isn't a disease.

0:50.5	And this is something our editor, Vlad Torel, has been thinking about ever since she went into labor.
