I know there's questions about whether the four children that were killed in Oakland County that we know of did some of that happen on North Fox Island.

1975. Detroit Free Press writer Jim Newbocker writes a feature titled,

North Fox, One Man's Rare Dot on the Universe.

It's a three-page spread.

On the headline page are two large photos. One is the island that spreads across the length of the paper in black and white.

And just below is a photo of a man walking on a beach.

The titular man who's rared out on the universe is North Fox Island.

His name is Francis Sheldon, although back then he was better known as Frank.

At the time of the article, Sheldon is 47 years old.
