An alleged drone launched an attack on the Chernobyl nuclear reactor in Ukraine and was able to

pierce the shield of the facility that nearly caused a region-wide nuclear disaster during the Cold

War. The attack to place right as President Donald Trump is trying to negotiate a peace deal

between Russia and Ukraine. In other news, the Trump administration is promising to launch an

investigation into California's high-speed rail project that spent billions but never got off

the ground. And meanwhile, something that went under the radar recently was that Trump issued

an executive order reinstating members of the U.S. military who had been discharged

for refusing to comply with the vaccine mandate. I'm the Epitimes Senior Investigator reporter

An alleged drone attack was able to launch a strike on the Chernobyl nuclear reactor in Ukraine, and it was even able to pierce the shield of the facility that nearly caused a region-wide

nuclear disaster during the Cold War.

Now, this attack took place right as President

Donald Trump was trying to negotiate a peace deal. Why would anybody do it at that time? And of course,

that's the peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. It also took place amid a fresh wave of pushback

suddenly over an effort in Europe where different countries want to keep the war going suddenly.

Now, look, first off, on the Soviet-era nuclear facility,

there's the usual blame game around it.

You know, Russia is claiming Ukraine did it. They say we didn't do it.

Ukraine is saying Russia's behind the attack.

We don't actually know.

The fog of war is very much real. We've seen in
