Today's guest is Mashama Bailey, the chef and co-owner of The Grey, located in Savannah, Georgia, in what was once a segregated greyhound bus station, the gray

has evolved into one of the most important restaurants in America today.

The story behind the gray is the subject of a new book, written by Mashama and her business

partner, John Morissano, titled Black, White and the Grey, the story of an unexpected

friendship and a beloved restaurant,

it is a unique memoir that delves into their relationship. And of course, it includes recipes

important to both of them. Mishama also shares some details about her latest project. She is

taking part in Intersect, a virtual restaurant from Lexus here in New York City. It kicks off this week, and her

menus will be featured through mid-April. If you live in New York and would love to try
