My name is Edwin.

Here is the Scary Story.

I want to say I flicked the poor little kid off my back.

That sounds wrong and it is sure to get me fired.

The poor child took a step back and tripped on a few of the plastic blocks that another

one of the children had been working on.

A type of store, she said, where the blocks were actually fruits or something like that.

The kid took a few more steps backward before falling and don't have to admit it was

a little funny, but only a little bit to see it happen.

Feeling over the warm breaths against the back of my head, with the occasional surprise

of finding drool or boogers stuck to my hair, something I desperately try to get away

from.

But I worked hard for the job and it paid well.

This was no time to quit.

I was lucky one out of the group with employees at the daycare center, still.

I had somehow managed to keep my schedule to work only in the mornings and have evenings

off.

But when I was still in the middle of the night, I was forced to take some of her hours

while they found a replacement.
