On the show today, I want to talk about trade down options. I want to talk about why I like the day three

defensive tackle class better than the day two defensive tackle class given opportunity

cost. But let's start here with what we are now getting as a full picture of the pre-draft visits for the Green Bay Packers.

And if you remember over the last handful of seasons, we can even just go back to last year.

More than half of the Packers' 2025 draft class were pre-draft visits.

And so sometimes it's getting to know a player. So we know,

now we don't want to draft that guy. Sometimes it's getting to know a player because it's,

maybe we really like this guy. Let's be absolutely sure. He's the guy for us. So when you look at the pre-draft visits,

about half of them, a little more actually, are seventh round picks to UDFAs. It has been a very

Ted Thompson pre-draft process, and that has led to some speculation about

are they looking to move up because they're planning on not having a bunch of day three

picks.

I don't subscribe to that theory in particular.

If you look at the players at the positions where they have brought in top 100

based on expectations, right?
