and today I'm chatting with designer author amazing gal Aaron Lochner about chasing

slow and it's that discontent you know I happiness cannot be the goal I don't even feel

like slow living can be the goal or fast living can be the goal anytime that we place this

attainable metric on our life we are in danger you know of measuring it to a

tee life cannot be measured it just can't it's an I feel like it's an art not a

science and so it just it became so evident to me that happiness was not going to

be an arrival point or a destination and that it was justice every day tangible

choice I had to make to rise above my circumstances that no I did not choose

but I found myself in and deciding to love and be loved anyway have you ever

considered the pace of your life maybe you're a young mom and your pace is

dictated by your children and you feel like you're just going going by their

needs but then maybe your mom who works outside the home and you're feeling

overly full by too much too many things at work too many things from friends

too many things from husband and kids or maybe you do stay home and you feel

like it is too slow compared to the career you had before well today's guest

here in Loch Nure has written so well on the topic and her book chasing slow it

arrived in my door and I get a lot of books but this one y'all she's amazing

she's this designer she had an HGTV show and her book shows all of the skills

that she has it's gorgeous and her writing is been a guide to me I kept her

book by my bedside table and read it slowly the last few months and it has

been such a help in a season where I would tell you if I'd coffee with you in
