This weekend could be historic for different reasons, as well as I want to jump into several comments that were made by the players that were made available to media yesterday, three receivers, Jeremiah Cougar, Jazz Nimrod, Kishon Singleton, and then of course, Auburn, tight end, Jake Johnson as well.

But man, just hearing these receivers talk, Darrell,

they continue to gush over and over and over again about Chaz Nimrod. And then, you know,

we speak to Chas Nimrod and he understands he's explosive. He understands the game. He talks

about the position at a high level. And it's like you look at

Kishon Singleton and Jeremiah Coger who's gotten a lot of the attention. But when you look at

production and also Byron Brown saying he's got expectations of him getting a thousand yards this

season, Jazz Nimrod might be that dude, Darrell. Very easy to get lost in the shuffle i'm guilty of it and i

think it's because if you do a deep dive the first thing you look at when any anytime three

receivers come over from the same there's more than three but we're talking about three that

come over from the same program the first thing you look at is stats, right?

Well, sometimes stats are not, don't tell the whole story when it comes to physical

attributes, speed, ability to get open.

And then you look at Nimrod's stats, and he had almost 500 yards and three touchdowns last year, but he only

played in half the games. So it doesn't take a football genius to figure out that if you put

that over 12 games and projected that over 12 games, those numbers would have looked different.
