So I've been talking on the blog about how much I enjoy this artist I found called DJ Disco Cat,

who takes and rearranges and extends a lot of music from the 70s and 80s, and I think he's a lot of fun.

And at one point I'm high and I'm playing cards, so I'm not really paying attention to what is going on.

He's just, you know, in the background.

And this song comes on called Party Line.

That's clearly just like a three-minute song.

But for whatever reason, this dude I really like, he made it like a 40,

he made it like a 40-minute mix, and just keeps repeating, because it's like a three minute song.

It just keeps repeating the same parts over and over again, but I was high and I was counting, and I wasn't paying attention.

So I'm like, oh, that's weird. Oh, that's weird. Oh, is it this song again?

And then I realized when I pulled it up and actually looked, I'm like, oh, is it this song again? And then I realized when I, when I pulled it up

and actually looked, I'm like, oh no, this song is going on forever for no reasons, skip the rest of it.

But that's just like an analogy for this summer. It almost feels like it's just, oh, I'm not trying

to concentrate on it.

And not doing so.

Just like every time I peek my head, I go up, it's like, it's going to be that hot again.

The news is that bad again?

People's dispositions are that sour still?

So I've made it through now everything of DJ Disco Cat, all 500 or 600 of his songs or

whatever there are, and some of them are quite long.

So that was an experiment.
