And even the titles make one thing glaringly obvious.

It's all about the guys.

Women are usually accessories in these stories, seen and not heard,

either the mistress, the long-suffering wife, or more likely, the widow. But there's another side of the mob's game in the 20th century.

With players like Mussolini, J. Edgar Hoover, and the Kennedy brothers.

Politicians are paid off to look the other way.

Night club dollars pour into the hands of mobsters,

dirty cops, and gay performers.
