They split with the Astros Scott.

I think on the last episode, towards the very end, we were talking about what we thought was going to happen in the series.

And I said, they'll split with the Astros and you said, now look at the pitching matchups.

They're going to get crushed.

Listen, I, the cynic in me was saying they will split with the Astros because I think that was the worst possible outcome.

Treading water remaining 500 remaining just barely out of reach of the playoffs is the worst possible outcome for this team.

Either win the series, which you had a chance to do on Sunday, take the series, feel good going into a road trip.

And then maybe this team could go on some momentum, get some good vibes going and you could feel good about the Yankees.

Or just get stomped and be done with it and let's move on with our lives.

But instead, it's a split and it's just endless.

It's the never and it's the song that never ends with the 2023 Yankees.

Well, I'm looking at this as they had every opportunity in the world in this last game to win.

And I think it was like 14 batters in the last three innings, something like that.

Next to impossible.

They were all by giving them the game with the walks for, they couldn't find the strike zone.

The pitch clock, you know, arrow to, to, to Glaber and then obviously to end the game.

Stand and just hit it to the wrong part of the park and probably didn't get the meat of the bat on the thing, but hit the shit out of the ball.

It's, it's unfortunate at the end there how it went down.
