The title of the book is Chaos, Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the 60s. It was published very recently, June 25th, 2019.

And it's a very detailed re-investigation into the events that are going to have their 50th year anniversary here on August days,

the Charles Manson-Tate La Bianca murders.

And he's going to tell a very interesting story.

He's been researching this story for two decades.

And it's just a really fantastic book.

For the audience who doesn't know your name,

can you talk a little bit about your background, how you became interested in journalism, and how you started your inquiry into the Charles Manson murders?

Okay, I was a frustrated playwright, screenwriter in New York City, actually driving a horse in

carriage in Central Park in the 80s after graduating from NYU's own school.

And there was a lot of downtime on the horse, so I'd read newspapers and magazines and never

taken a journalism career or course in my life but I just thought this sounds fun

and easy while I write something up about the carriages and submit it and I sent a first

person kind of numerous piece about the carriages to New York maxine and first thing I

sent in they published and the next thing I knew I started getting published as a freelance person for a few years, enough to leave the carriages.
