Hope you have got seatbelts on over those pajamas because it is day

nine of the second Trump administration. And right now, officials around the country are wondering

how much longer they'll have the federal funding they need to do things like responding to

natural disasters and fighting crime. Last night, the White House issued a two-page document freezing billions of

dollars in federal spending. Several groups immediately sued, and today a judge temporarily

blocked the order, but only till Monday. The sweeping freeze was set to take effect at 5 p.m.

Eastern today. And if you're wondering, what does any of this mean? Does it include services that are crucial

to me or somebody in my family? Could it affect my job or my workplace? These are all great

questions. And here's the problem. No one seems to have a clear answer to any of them. But my colleague

Garrett Hague starts us off tonight with what we do know. Tonight, in a blow to the administration, a federal judge has temporarily blocked the president's

attempt at another government shakeup.

After the Office of Management and Budget overnight ordered a temporary pause on grant, loan,

or federal financial assistance programs that might run counter to President Trump's executive
