0:52.6	I mean, the Golden age is pretty big.
1:01.0	Well, I'll tell you, the best place to start, if we're going to talk about Batman, it is his 70th anniversary this year.
1:06.6	But the best place to start, or maybe the best dates to start, is April 18, 1939.
1:07.8	What happened on that date?
1:11.8	I'm going to guess Detective 27 hits a new stance.'m going to guess. Detective 27 hits the new stance?
1:13.8	That is exactly right.
1:17.7	Detective 27 hit the stands on April 18th, 1939.
1:20.3	Of course, the rest they say is history. And Batman was on the scene and rapidly developed during the course of that next year.
1:27.9	Really an exciting time, I think, in the Golden Age of Comic Books.
