Let's jump in.

This is the third of a series of spotlights featuring Batman celebrating his 70th year in publication.

And I want to say, now, when was the cover date for Detective Comics?

May of 39. Okay. That's what I was going to say. I thought it was somewhat around this time.

We already did a Golden Age spotlight. We did a Silver Age spotlight. So we're going to now focus

on the Bronze Age. And for our purposes, I've sort of deemed the Bronze Age

to be anything around or starting with or around the time of the Denny O'Neill. Denny O'Neill, when he

took over the reins of Batman and actually took over the reins of a lot of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman on some level.

And also with Denny O'Neill obviously comes, Neil Adams for his short run.

So around that time, up through the late 70s, 80s, including the end of Brave and the Bowl, the start of Batman and the outsiders, you know, and then also up to an including crisis.

And if we want a nice stopping point, we're putting it as Batman 400, even though Batman 401 and 402 were also sort of of that same era.

But they were, there was a legends crossover yeah right um

so then was maybe with them 401 4 2 and 403 like the max alan collins he was like the last

writer before they did batman year one and so we're not going to talk about batman year one or

the dark night returns we're going to save that for another two months.

The next one we do Batman Spotlight on, for lack of a better term,

the Dark Age or whatever we want to call that.

So everything, you know, Danny O'Neill Crisis, Batman 400 around there.
