From Dave Dreyer, it's back in August 9th, subject is Wizard Chicago Story. I was just listening to your recap of Lou Forigno's experience at Wizard

Chicago, and I'd like to add my own eyewitness story of theft at that con. I was walking

with my 10-year-old son when a bald, middle-aged man came tearing out of one of the vendor

aisles. He was weaving through the crowd, shoving folks out of the way. I thought he was a

thief, and I nudged my son to watch what was happening.

Suddenly the guy launched himself onto the back of a startled college age kid.

He grabbed him by the collar and started calling for security.

It turns out the kid had picked up an entire long box of comics from the guy's table and just walked off with it.

The kid had the nerve to act surprise despite the fact he was caught red-handed with a box that was labeled J-through-L.

Even funnier, he resembled a young John Cryer, circa Pretty and Pink.

Poor Ducky looked like he was about to cry as the Rosemont police cuffed him right there on the floor and let him away.

Like any dad would, I took the opportunity to explain to my son, that's what happens to people who steal.

It was a pleasure meeting you all, but I miss seeing the pimp next year, right? Dave, Spider-Dave, Dreyer.

Can you imagine? Just walk out. I brought my entire J-through through L collection here to get it signed.

Maybe he just thought that it would be so obvious

that no one would think twice about it,
