I love today's episode. We are packed. I'm going to give you the five things from week 17 award style. We'll go back to that. Also recapping the college football playoff games that were incredible on Saturday.

0:23.0

We're going to talk with Trent Dill for about all the college stuff as well. It actually previewed Georgia TCU a little in there. We've got Mike Giardi NFL Network. He's covered the paths for a couple decades, but he also was around for stintum who I thought was fantastic in the loss against the Niners for Vegas yesterday. So a ton of football and a life advice that has to do with do a lippa and Kyle. Let's start our Monday off recapping week 17 in the NFL.

0:52.0

We're going to go award style here for this one. Green Bay Packers win the Austin on the award. They won't go away. If you don't understand that reference, don't worry about it. He is a 29 year old quarterback in the transfer portal committed to TCU in 2012, but then went to the Yankees. I think for a million bucks and played the minor six years. North Texas. I'm all for it. Good for you, man. Live your life. But I was just trying to make a joke about not going away. Anyway, the Packers beat Minnesota yesterday, 4117. It was actually 41 to 3. Now the packer is going to be a little bit more than that.

1:21.0

Now the Packers are eight and eight from 4 and 8 to 8 and 8. They beat Detroit at home and they're in the playoffs. Now it's been a couple factors here. One is the defense. They haven't allowed more than 20 points or 20 points only once against Miami in the last month. The turnover ratio is plus 11 in the last month. It's also the schedule stupid, which I like to remind all of us at times they beat Chicago, the Rams Miami with two problems and then Minnesota and Minnesota, you know, technically is still a good win. We'll get to them in a second here.

1:50.0

Just Jefferson went off against them in the beginning of the season nine from 184 to touchdowns only one catch from 15 yards. There's a lot of back and forth, which are Alexander comments who is a terrific corner.

2:00.0

And this was an absolute domination. Cousins was terrible. There's that one play on the fumble. I believe with cousins where the broadcast was basically pointing out like, hey, look.

2:14.0

You've got Jefferson on Preston Smith and it's an inter-out option and cousins didn't even see it before the snap.

2:24.0

And that was a huge, huge play in this one. Green Bay has been able to run the football quite a bit 175, 138, 79, 163 total rushing yards. Each of the last four games averaging 139.

2:36.0

So Green Bay wins against Detroit and they are in Seattle would need to beat the Rams and to have Detroit beat Green Bay for them to get that final spot in the NFC.

2:46.0

So the Packers won't go away. I don't know how anybody's going to feel about them in the playoffs here because it is a bit of his kind of an easy schedule, but then you'd argue, wait a minute, Minnesota is good though, right?

2:58.0

And that's what brings us to number two. The Tim Tebow Award goes to the Minnesota Vikings.

3:03.0

Now let's go back and look at history. In 2011, a young spy, Russellot was doing a radio show with Vampel.

3:10.0

And Tebow took over the reins about a month or so in for the Denver Broncos. He went seven and four as a start of that season.

3:18.0

And they kept winning all the time. He was actually seven and one and then they lost like the last three games in season.

3:25.0

But doing that radio show during that time, doing any daily show at that time was exhausted because every week I'm like, he's not any good.

3:38.0

He's not good. And then they win. And then you'd have to go, I still don't think he's good, but they won again.

3:47.0

Every week we come and do that Monday pre-show meeting. And I think he probably liked him more than I did. Actually, that's definitely true.

3:56.0

But I'm not saying that as if, hey, I was right, Scott was wrong. I think he actually hosted something in his charity too. So that made him more awkward.

4:02.0

So he had the relationship with him and then it's like, he they beat Miami. Remember that one in the first start. He went 13 to 27 had to touchdowns.

4:12.0

He beat Oakland. He went 10 to 21. They beat Kansas City rushing at 55 times. He he was two or eight.

4:22.0

Two completions on eight attempts win. They beat the jets. He completed nine passes. He beat the chargers completing nine passes.

4:33.0

They beat Minnesota. You went 10 to 15. Remember that Chicago 13 10 game where the Broncos won on the field goal. And I remember watching that game going, I don't think he's any good.
