Keep energy. This is the Keep Energy podcast. I heard a DJ who can speak English say that over the week.

0:16.0

Pretty fancy party. But it was before the bowl game so didn't want to stay out real late.

0:23.0

But there was a rumor that the DJ was from Marrakesh couldn't be confirmed.

0:28.0

Dudes are trying to hit up Siri for the titles of some of the songs. Siri had no clue all night.

0:34.0

Siri's like, look, give up. I don't know. But the DJ did tell us to keep energy throughout.

0:39.0

So we're going to try to keep energy in 2020. And I don't really have any other resolutions.

0:44.0

So there you go. But yeah, it was one of those out of a movie deals where it was that kind of a party.

0:50.0

And you're like, wow, this stuff really happens. And it exists. And despite, you know, a lot of you listening out there, I normally always say no to these things that are like up in the hills or downtown.

1:04.0

You're like, I don't know. And it's just the rule of LA. I bought somebody a gift card to a hotel. A few towns away.

1:10.0

I now realize it's the dumbest gift you could ever buy for somebody in Los Angeles.

1:15.0

Because they're like, oh, a free night at a really fancy hotel. How far away is it? Yeah. No, no, be nice. You can get there a little bit later.

1:24.0

Yeah. So anyway, it was worth it. But keep energy is incredible. Because everybody's like, did he? What? What did he say? What happened?

1:35.0

So anyway, good night. But a great day, a great day at college football. I was in Atlanta for the pitch bowl. We know this.

1:41.0

I'm headed in Orleans for the national championship game. We knew that would happen.

1:45.0

As far as me getting out on the road, I don't know if we're going to be doing technically a remote from anywhere. But you know, maybe I'll tell you guys what hotel I'm in and you guys just stop by.

1:53.0

I'm kidding. That'd be great. Like a live studio audience of five in a one bedroom with a king, maybe even a queen depending on which booking site I used.

2:03.0

So the plan today is I'm going to talk a little bit about college ball and the games. And then we're also going to have Jack McClellan long time NBA writer on the passing of former NBA commissioner David Stern, sad news, obviously all the way around.

2:17.0

And considering I just read a profile in Stern. You know, within the last year and all of the next things is the best thing and all the stuff. And he's just a really interesting guy. Very successful. A lot of opinions on Stern.

2:28.0

And I think it'd be just fun to talk about Stern until some David Stern stories. And of course around the holidays thoughts with his family.

2:36.0

But let's start with everyone's favorite argument. Who's good when it comes to college conferences. Now I used to argue with Danny canell about this to the point where I hated it.

2:50.0

He also, you know, he one time got so mad at Scott and I because you were like, you're the worst on Twitter with this anti SEC stuff. Like we get it. That's your thing. There's also a little level when you're playing for a team like Florida state ACC.

3:03.0

Where you're going to be really prideful. Like if I were somebody that played at Ohio State and was sitting around listening about how great the SEC was all the time. Yeah, we just annoy me because competitively I wouldn't want to think that I played in a lesser version of what it was. And granted, if I go to Ohio State, I'm right there with anybody else.
