Welcome back, everyone.

I hope you enjoyed the climb up and down the stairs to the wonderful

cookies, which I enjoyed. I would recommend the raisin. We're here for the second panel,

which we're going to sort of take a focus on clean energy markets across Europe, both

what's needed to ensure interconnectivity, but also what's needed to ensure

that it doesn't undermine our climate ambition and indeed contributes to achieving our goals.

And I think this is an interesting question in the context of the sort of world around us,

the external factors, but also the internal factors within the EU,

where I think if you look at the policies of different member states, you actually see quite a lot of divergence,

be it the nuclear phase out in Germany, which causes some complications to Polish attitudes to coal.

I'm going to stop there, and I will introduce each of our panel before they speak.

So we're going to begin with Claire Moody, the MEP for the Southwest, about to enter a campaign,

perhaps slightly unexpected in perhaps the most exciting region of the EU, but also with a big focus on, I know, science, innovation and the like.
