From the Center for European Reform, this is the CERR podcast.

Hello and welcome to another episode of the CER podcast.

0:13.0

My name is Sophia Beshe and I'm a research fellow here at the Center for European Reform.

0:18.0

And today I'm in conversation with Ian Bond, who's a foreign policy director,

0:21.8

and Sam Lowe, who's also a research fellow here at the CR. And today is another bulletin podcast.

1:26.5

then took offence at something that Justin Trudeau said

1:30.6

and walked that back and claimed he'd been stabbed in the back by his allies

1:34.9

and then sent his surrogates out to be extremely offensive to his allies.

1:39.6

All of that is not helping to preserve a good transatlantic relationship.

1:44.7

But how much of a threat is Trump really to the international trading system?

1:48.8

How much of this is bluster and how much of it will have lasting consequences?
