Where is an advantage for Boston?

They can hang their hat and feel good about going into this and trying to win the series.

Well, I think, John, there's a lot of disadvantageous switching that takes place in the modern NBA, right?

A lot of star players get to pick who they want to play against just by

getting a ball screen. But when you play the Warriors, a lot of that switching is going to be necessary,

and there is not a team more equipped to do it than the Boston Celtics, because the physical

profile of about six guys in their rotation are such that they've got foot speed, they've got

length, they've got physical

strength to wear on guys, to fight over screens, the length to contest, even if you get there

late, the foot speed, if you have to switch out and you're a bigger guy to keep guys in front

or at least be able to ride them all the way to the rim.

I just think Boston has more guys like that.

So you're going to see a lot of

switching in this series. And Golden State typically really makes you pay if you miscommunicate those

switches because of the number of weapons they have and because of the number of screens that

take place on a given possession. So that's something to definitely look at. I think Boston is most equipped to defend the Golden State Warriors the way that you need to.
