But what it is is this dismissive way of pet talking people.

And this is something I wrote about an expectation hangover.

This is something I talked about in episodes I've done about the dangers of personal development

of this kind of expectation of, well, you just need to find the silver lining and things.

And you just need to think positively.

And any negative thoughts you're going to have are going to manifest.

I mean, that's been something that has been said to me so many times in my pregnancy.

When I spoke about some of my fears, about pregnancy or about birth or any of it, it's

like, no, no, don't say that.

You don't want to manifest it.

I'm like, well, no, that's not the way it works.

Like speaking my fears out is part of how I move through them and part of how I'm human.

And I'm not going to sit in them.

And I'm not going to obsess about them, but I need an outlet for them.

And so this expectation that, you know, we're supposed to be positive all the time.

We can't say anything because words create our reality.
