Summary

I have heard from so many listeners about how to deal with the Expectation Hangover they are experiencing regarding the presidential election in the states. This is a special edition of Coaches Corner where I share a few thoughts about this time and encourage you to choose love not fear. I also lead a guided meditation. I am reminded (and comforted) by the fact that sometimes a massive expectation hangover is needed to create massive change. This is a time where those of us who continue to choose love instead of fear are needed even more.

into the unconscious collective energy that's circulating around.

0:55.9

Give yourself permission to feel your feelings.

0:59.3

Use the techniques like release

like release writing and the temper tantrum technique that I write about an expectation hangover. Let yourself have a good cry.

1:07.0

But process the feelings, release them, don't indulge in them.

1:11.0

And I encourage you not to attempt to process your feelings by posting negative rants on Facebook

1:17.5

or social media or whatever your outlet may be because honestly all that does is contribute to the negativity and the fear and the judgment that's just circling around right now.

1:30.0

So yes, give yourself space to feel your feelings, but don't indulge or stay in them for too long.

1:37.4

And also look at like what this is triggering inside of you, you know, whenever we have this kind of heightened

emotion out there, we have to look at how is external experience a reflection of
