Summary

We’re continuing our soap opera featuring María-José and Andrew and in this week’s episode Andrew needs some help with an assignment for his Spanish class. We’ll also be looking at the imperative – the command form – in this lesson. Please note that lesson 35 of Season 2 was originally known as lesson 235 of Coffee Break Spanish. We have renumbered the lessons of each season as lessons 1-40 to make things more simple for our listeners.

0:39.4	So to begin with, we're going to listen to a conversation between Andrew and Marie Jose and in
0:44.8	this week's conversation, Andrew is working on a piece of work for his class, una tarea. Una tarea

1:00.5	and he's finding it a little boring pesada. Pesada. And to solve the problem of it being
1:08.4	rather boring, Marie Jose offers to help Andrew. Let's listen to the conversation and see how much
1:15.2	you can understand of it. A couple of questions you might want to consider while listening are,
1:20.8	first of all, what does Andrew like doing in his spare time? And also, what does Marie Jose like doing in
1:28.2	her spare time? Hola, Marie Jose. Hola, Andrew. Javariuto de. Preguntame cómo estoy en español.
1:37.7	Necesito practicar. Bueno, dime qué tal estás. I feel awful. I'm tired and hungry and fed up.
