After I got fired from Facebook, I packed up all my stuff at the Facebook house I was living at,

bought a pack of cigarettes, and moved to my real friend's couch in Santa Clara, California.

It was the beginning of years of resentment and depression from my stolen identity.

Last night I was talking to a successful friend who got fired as well from his high profile job.

It reminded me of my Facebook days when it felt like I lost everything.

This is a voice memo I recorded for him, for me, and for you when you're struggling.

I couldn't sleep, so I had to get this recording out there, for you.

This won't include WUWU or R-R-R-R-Bolshit, no fake messages to hype you up. It's a reminder to myself of your

worth and that we have the ability to make shit better. I think you'll enjoy it and can use it when you're

feeling down to.

Every night when I go to bed, I pray. I thank Mr. and Mrs. God, and then I pray for nearly the same thing every night.

I pray for clarity.

My buddy David recently said I should pray for courage too and I've added that one in.

So each night now I'm praying for clarity and courage. Don't get me wrong. I'm not

religious but with praying we're really just speaking to ourselves to help us get that

clarity to the things that we truly want outside of the day-to-day

distractions that we all go through.

We assume there might be a higher power to really empower us

when that higher being is really just inside.

The reality of life, the shit's hard.

It's not as easy as in the movies, because when you wake up that next morning, you have to face your life.

The fear that you just got fired and have to find work, the kids you're taking care of and need you, the bills that you have to pay, the rejection you got the night before,
