Hello Catholics. And everyone else, welcome to your home for pure Catholic pleasure. It is the Catholic guy show.

You know, sometimes I think about where I'm at in life. I think about my career. I think about where I wanted to be in life, where I wanted to be in my career at the age of 51,

if I would look back 10 or 20 years ago or so.

And, you know, I've come more or less to the point in my life where I'm at peace

insofar as I can say to God, thank you for giving me a career.

Thank you for giving me friends. Thank you for giving me a career. Thank you for giving me friends.

Thank you for giving me an audience. And strangely enough, thank you for not making me famous,

or thank you for not making me rich. Like, in other words, I'm in this comfortable place of hidden in plain sight.

I've got a national radio show, but I don't have, but I'm not a big enough deal.

Thank God, I'm not a big enough deal that anybody pays attention or cares.

I'll tell you why I say that.

It's something I've thought about.

I keep a man journal, you know, and I write in it every morning, and I was writing in it just

a couple mornings ago talking about a bit of gratitude.
