Sophie, I wanted to start by asking you, what drew you to Catherine's story and why is it important that a book like yours is written now?

So I think I've been very drawn to Catherine as a character since many means of going to the National Portrait Gallery and seeing her in situ as the only queen who's kind of eclipsed by mistresses.
