In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple Double") are back in studio with UNLV transfer quarterback Jayden Maiava joining the show. The Mountain West Freshman of the Year from Las Vegas comes to USC after a stellar redshirt freshman season as a Rebel, completing 224 of 353 passes for 3,085 yards and 17 touchdowns with 10 interceptions and rushing for 277 yards on 73 carries with three touchdowns. With Maiava at the helm UNLV made the Mountain West Championship Game for the first time and won the most games since 1984.
Ryan and Connor chat with Maiava about his decision to transfer to USC, how spring football went for him, his progress during the summer workouts, working with the talented Trojan wide receivers, his first impressions of the new-look Trojan defense and lots more.
