week, high winds and rain blasted through the greater Seattle area in the form of a bomb cyclone,

and viral food reviewer Keith Lee's trip to Seattle took a turn for the worst, or should I say,

wormsed, leading to the temporary closure of a local restaurant chain.

Northwest reports producer and co-host Malihaziyah Syed and and Seattle weather blogs Justin Shaw are here to break down the week.

But first, let's get you caught up.

Power is still out for thousands in the Puget Sound region.

Many people won't get it back until tomorrow, according to Puget Sound Energy.

And some schools across the

region remained closed today as well, including all schools in the Issaquah School District,

Bellevue College, and Green River College's campus in Enemclaw. Washdot is postponing planned

maintenance on the Ballard Bridge again this weekend. The schedule's been a little unpredictable.

A previous closure was canceled in October due to weather, as well as a couple others after that.

This time, Washdot postponed the work because of Jewel Fest at the Nordic National Museum Saturday

and Sunday. That's the museum's annual holiday festival with food, live music, and dozens of vendors selling art and handcrafted goods.

And hey, speaking of makers markets, this is the weekend to get out there and find locally made gifts.
