Hey, good morning. It's Patricia Murphy. It's Friday. This is Seattle now. This week, in a

shocking twist, Pike Place will be free of most car traffic until the end of the summer. Corporate sponsors

are hesitating to give money to Seattle Pride, and the Woodland Park Zoo is celebrating its 40th

year of selling compost that comes from its animals. Author Danielle Marie Holland and local

film critic Chase Hutchison are here to break down the week. But first, let's get you caught up.

Two exhibitions open this weekend to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon and the end of the Vietnam War.

The multimedia art exhibit, Saigon to Seattle. Our past, our present, and our future opens tomorrow at Wanru

Gallery in Bellevue. It runs through May 17th, and the Washington State History Museum in Tacoma

is opening an exhibit on Saturday as well that honors Vietnam veterans and their experiences.

It's called The Things They Brought Home, Memories of Washington's Vietnam Veterans.

That's running through mid-November.

Heads up, the Ballard Bridge is closed this weekend for ongoing paving and safety improvements.

The closure begins at 10 tonight, and the bridge will reopen to traffic 5 a.m. Monday morning.

Seattle's Department of Transportation says the work was supposed to be done last fall,

but it was delayed because of rain. S. Dot will close the bridge for additional weekends this
