In January 1992, devoted mother of two Patricia Hall, vanished from a small town in Yorkshire without a trace.

Her car was left abandoned a short distance from the family home,

but none of her possessions including her passport were taken,

and no withdrawals have been made from her bank accounts since her disappearance.

Early on in the investigation, Patricia's husband Keith becomes a prime suspect,

but with no further progress, the case seems to go cold.

A year later when Keith falls in love after meeting someone through a lonely heart's column,

the truth seems to emerge, and he finds himself involved in a cat and mouse game with the police.

However, all is not as it seems, and Keith is never convicted.
