morning. Caleb Gutierrez, aged 57, was pronounced dead at Springfield County Penitentiary, after guards found him restrained in the prison library.

Cause of death is currently unknown, but Gutierrez's body is being transported for an autopsy.

Gutierrez, formerly known as the Springfield Reaper, terrorized the town in the early 1980s

before eventually being caught and found guilty on seven counts of first-degree murder.

He was sentenced to over 140 years in prison with no chance of parole,
