You've joined us on an amazing day, isn't it?

Spring is finally here, and we've had back-to-back days now of 20 degrees, which is a rarity.

Yeah, I'm sat here in a t-shirt which I think is the

first time this year and yeah it just feels like I don't know it just feels very nice to be

outside for one without the shackles of being restricted and we're past the point obviously

where the Angling Trust have done some great work and

allowed us to get fishing so not that we are fishing well I feel like we should be we're

sat by a lovely Cotswold Lake we've got the birds chirup in the background which you

hopefully can pick up we've got the birds sort of doing their thing all sort of looking a bit

broody yeah it's a lovely lovely lovely place to come, isn't it?

And I can't help but feel that I should have bought a rod up,

or both of us should have bought a rod up,

because we've seen evidence of fish right up in the upper layers,

there's no surprise given the conditions.

And a well-placed zig out there, mate.

I think we'd have one for the podcast. I don't know why we didn't do it.

Yeah, we just talked ourselves out of it

because we're in a bit of a rush.
