I'm Kelly O'Hara and today's guest is Caroline Marx.

Caroline Marx at just 20 years old is already one of the world's best surfers.

The youngest woman to ever qualify for the WSL championship tour,

Caroline was also the youngest surfer at last year's Tokyo Olympics.

Surfing wasn't even her first sport and yet Caroline racked up 17 national titles by the time

she turned 15. She won Rookie of the Year during her first year on the pro tour and won her first

two events during her second year. Often called the future of surfing,

Caroline joins us today to talk about the joys and tribulations of being a surfing prodigy.

Where are we finding you today? I'm doing good. I'm currently in San

Camini, California. It's a beautiful day here and yeah, ways have been fun.

Water has been really cold, but the way has been fun. That's all I can ask for and it's been good.

How are you doing? Awesome. Yeah, I'm definitely not in sunny California. You are getting the

better end of the location today. I'll just say that for sure. We're going to talk a lot about

surfing today, which I'm super excited to have you on. I love surfing. Just even preparing for this
