Mike, thank you so much for taking a few minutes out of your day to preview the Panthers.

I'm going to start with this one.

I don't love how Dave Canales has come in as the head coach and handled preseason.

What do your take on him very likely not letting starters go in games?

Do you think it's going to slow down to development in the early part of the season?

Well, I think missing game one is not that big of a deal.

They're going to then do joint practices on Thursday with the Jets,

which most coaches, especially the new age ones,

view those as a better environment for evaluation than preseason games.

Because in preseason games, you're going to do, you know, between, you know, 10 and 20 reps, whereas in training camp and joint practice, you're probably going to do about 60 to 70 reps.

And so I think the thought process with the first two preseason games, they'll get the majority of their evaluation

through those first two. I do think he needs to play the starters in one of the preseason games,

which makes Buffalo a likely landing spot next week. But yeah, I mean, this team was 2 and 15 last year.

Well, there's a lot of new pieces.

It is logical to say, hey, they need as much work together as possible.

What's your sense on how the new staff has come in and is working with their installs

specifically on the offensive side?

Do you sense a lot of difference to what we saw last year scheme-wise?

Yeah, I mean, it's still a pretty, not elementary offense, but a, you know,

a traditional offense.
