from the New York Times that the 76ers who have been without a boss for sometimes since

Brian Kalangelo was ousted took a run at Darryl Morey and were rebuffed. I will tell you

Kevin that when I when I first read the headline, I was like, what in the world because we

know that this is where Sam Hinky came from. And so what a world that would be if Sam Hinky

who walks away from that job once they try to install the Kalangelo's to work with him,

then his somewhat mentor goes in and gets to follow through on the process. I mean, obviously

we don't hear about this until it was already done, right? Like we we find out after the

fact it wasn't like we saw the story. Hey, the sixers want to talk to Darryl Morey.

It was the sixers did talk to Darryl Morey and Darryl Morey is staying at Houston. And

so now we kind of know that that all took place. But I got to tell you Kevin, I was shocked

that I mean, why not just call Sam Hinky then bring him back. Well, two things. You can't

blame the Philadelphia 786 for going for one of the better general managers and the league

and Darryl Morey. The second part is I get a kick out of how you pronounce his last name.

Morey? Morey. Yeah. It's all voice in it. I know. As long as we've known each other,

it's always been morey. And you say a different morey. Yeah, Darryl Morey. But I guess
