But in her Hall of Fame speech, which was 20 minutes, she raised a couple eyebrows when she said she regretted operating as a, quote, emotionless machine.

So in this interview, Meg does a fantastic job diving a little bit deeper into what was a reflective and raw, Carly Lloyd.

First of all, how are you?

Obviously, a big weekend.

Yes, a little tired, recovering from it.

Having a six-month-old daughter definitely throws in some other logistical things that I normally don't have to deal with, but

just really special. I mean, Saturday was busy. The whole weekend was busy, but it was,

it was amazing. You know, I had so much fun and just a full circle moment, just with my family

there and everything. Yeah, I mean, I want to talk to you about that speech

because watching it, I was starting to get a little choked up, right? I mean, obviously,

the emotions were there, but just, I mean, what was going through your mind as you were writing it?

So I've been asked by a couple people, you know, when I started to kind of craft the speech. And obviously,

you know, I found out about this. And I think it was January of this year. So, you know,
