Summary

Taylor talks to The Athletic's Carl Anka about a lot of different topics (the best West African dish, why the transfer market might be a dud this January, and writing children's books with a certain famous footballer, but it's mostly about Manchester United. Here's the basic idea we try to make sense of: Manchester United are a team surrounded by and composed of question marks, but that fact doesn't seem to be having the negative impact it might elsewhere. Plus, how good is Marcus Rashford and what does he need to improve in his game, what's gone wrong for Anthony Martial, which players are limiting what the team wants to do stylistically, Solskjaer's preferred tactics, and the future of Paul Pogba. All that AND Carl admits Weston McKennie is good and requests that the internet stop bullying him.
