they can leave us feeling so very anxious and sad and hopeless. And we understand

we're hearing you and we're experiencing this ourselves as well. And so in this episode of Anxiety Slayer, we're going to explore how to care for your nervous system

I think a great place to begin is to remind ourselves and everyone listening in that it's normal to feel more anxious during times of collective sadness.

Yeah. And also that we're aware of so many more things than we would have been even 50 years ago, maybe even 20 years ago.

You know, sometimes we want to check on a specific issue that we're concerned about,

but we'll see so many other things of concern also, and it can be so overwhelming.

And yeah, it's definitely natural to feel more anxious, to feel

sad. We were never meant to take in this much information about everything that's happening all

over the world. No, and we're not wired to be able to process it healthily. I saw some information the

other day, which reminded me from Ayurveda that we don't just digest what we eat. We digest

everything that comes through our senses, everything we hear, everything we see, whether we're seeing

it face to face or seeing it on a screen,

and often we're not able to digest or process everything we take in completely.

It's like even a good meal if you eat too much of it taxes your digestion.
