I'm Brian. I'm on the phone with Oshfin, and today we are discussing Candyman from 1992, directed and written by Bernard Rose based on the Clive Barker Story, The Forbidden, starring Virginia Madsen, Tony Todd, and Cassie Lemons.

In this movie, a graduate student researches an urban legend known as the Candyman and gets more than she bargained for.

We picked this because long ago, our good friend Margot requested it and somehow we just lost it in the

shuffle even though we love you margot and it's also pretty topical because i guess it's not

super recent but within the past few months we heard that jordan peel is producing and has co-written

a script for a new candy man movie that will come out in 2020.

And I am excited for that movie, especially even more so after re-watching this.

Me too. I mean, like, that's awesome. I mean, it's a Jordan Peel movie, so it's going to be

incredible. And then, yeah, Candyman, like, that's an awesome combination.

Yeah. Yeah. And we can talk a little bit later about what this movie, the new movie may or may not be about or what might be going on there.
