delighted. I'm always delighted to talk to Will. But the topics that he covers are really, like, close to the third circle of hell for me to

read.

I mean, it's such lunacy.

And look, there have always been crazy fever swamp people, fringes of the conservative

movement.

And I came up in the conservative movement.

I was aware that there were some people. Your newsletter, which is required reading,

is like it's insanity. It is like unbelievable how far things have gone. So, first of all, thank you for joining me. If you don't

mind, I'd like to just have you give a little bit of an outline of who the most important

people are in this universe of MAGA and far-right influencers.

And if you wouldn't mind, can you give us a sense of who has the most influence?

So, for example, one of the people you've written about is Candice Owens.

And she strikes me as a lunatic.

I mean, she peddles the idea that Emmanuel Macron's wife is

actually a man, that Erica Kirk had a role in her husband's assassination, and on and on.

And she just seems nutty to me, and yet far from being dismissed by the right, the nuttier she gets, the more clicks and influence she seems to get. Or am I misreading that?

No, you're right on. I mean, I think you hit the nail on the head there. I mean, I think particularly, you know, over the past 20 years, but in particular over the really the past 10, you know,

since Trump's first election, we've seen the emergence of this whole constellation of like

right-wing podcasts and social media figures. And, you know, we look at right-wing media,

you know, Fox News is kind of like the big 800-pound elephant. But often, I think the change is being
