I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And on Tuesday night, the Lakers' slim and faint playoff hopes finally died a merciful death. Lakers have been eliminated from even the playing tournament.

Guys, how are you feeling right now? We're three guys that are pretty immersed in the Lakers

throughout our lives. And this was a season unlike any other. I'd love to hear just kind of

where you're at now that it's finally over,

not technically with all of our games, but just any aspirations to make the playoffs.

I mean, when you see something coming for a while now, it's not necessarily surprising.

Mind you, a couple of weeks ago, I was Darius the Optimist, and I remember y'all, you know, talking about me when I missed a couple of pods.

And but that optimism was rooted in this idea that LeBron's ankle wasn't going to be a big deal, that Anthony Davis was coming back.

And I actually feel on some levels a sense of relief that there will be no games of import,

that there will be no more trying to ramp up and get ready for these tough games in which players of that ilk try to push through

things in order to play to the level that they know they're capable of playing when the

stakes reach a certain point.

And I don't know about you guys, but I was worried

for Anthony Davis limping around the other day and trying to play through what is clearly

a foot injury that is bothering him still, whether it's the same foot injury or whether it's
