And today, this is a little special, a special midweek episode for two reasons. Two reasons. One, I wanted you to get to hear my buddy, Adam Clark, who is currently working with me and in our

class upsetting the powers. We had so much fun last night in our class on womanism, looking at

the intersectional approach to theological reflection that emerges from black women's experience

theologically. So that was our main focus. And there was like an hour,

hour and a half of digging in to that tradition. But there were also a stack of

questions that were timely and unrelated explicitly to the content of the class. and we ended up doing them at the end, kept

talking and having quite a bit of fun. And I said, oh, this is, this, I want to share this. What,

what kind of questions were these questions about race and the nomination for the Supreme Court?

The NFL and its controversy over race and coaching.

We talked about Whoopi Goldberg's recent comments, Joe Rogan's current predicaments online,

cancel culture and a whole bunch of other like pop topics that ran through a theological framework.

And it was fun.

The second reason I wanted to throw in this special midweek episode is this is a kind of fun stuff that ends up happening in the homebrewd reading groups.
