distinguished biographer writing in the National Post, a recommendation that sounds wonderfully like Doge.

Conrad, a very good evening to you. You're recommending that Canada make itself extremely great again,

and one of your recommendations is to reduce the size of provincial and municipal governments until...

And federal, all three.

And federal. And three. Federal.

And coming from the number 4.1 million to three million? It's shocking.

You are...

Yeah, well, we...

I mean, if you in the U.S. had the same percentage of government employees that we have,

you'd have 35 million public sector employees.

And the real numbers, I understand, is about 22 million.

And that includes a huge military establishment, which we don't have.

I mean, it's feather bedding.

I mean, we've just been hiring masses of superfluous people at all levels of government.

I don't think you can just fire them the way, you know, your administration is doing.

I think you've got to say, all right, people will take normal retirement age.

We'll offer early retirement to some, but we're not replacing them.

And, you know, we'll just, you know, we'll just change the workload for the continuing

civil servants as their total number comes down.

And then, you know, and we'll end up with fewer public sector employees better paid.
